Try it out, it works great.
I use frequently just the vinegar, and water (well water) 50/50%. I also use a toothbrush to clean between the toe nails, paws, under eyes, I also spray the mixture on their coat while brushing.
The unpleasant smell for us goes away quickly, and leaves a nice soft , fresh smelling coat.
