What Is Considered "Organ Meat"

What Is Considered "Organ Meat" in our dogs diet?

Where the confusion comes along is figuring out which organs from  animals constitutes as "Organ meat" concerning raw feeding, versus "Muscle meat".

Organs should comprise approximately 10% of your dogs total diet. 

• Liver is on top of the list of the organ meats, as it is rich in potassium, copper, and Vitamin A as well as the B vitamins.  Vitamins D, K and E are also well represented.  Because of the high amount of Vitamin A, liver should be fed often but in small quantities.                                  
  

Beef and chicken liver are purchasable in most grocery stores.

• Kidney is another Organ meat, which is rich in Vitamins D, K, A and E, iron and zinc, and spleen which offers much of the same.  
  

Chicken gizzards, chicken and beef hearts, beef kidney, and occasionally beef tongue do not constitute as organ meat.

Home Made Itchy Spray

Try it out, it works great.
I use frequently just the vinegar, and water (well water) 50/50%. I also use a toothbrush to clean between the toe nails, paws, under eyes, I also spray the mixture on their coat while brushing.
The unpleasant smell for us goes away quickly, and leaves a nice soft , fresh smelling coat.

Bisou is very sweet and affectionate. Good on a lead, can travel well. She currently sleeps at night in a crate, and is very clean. She loves her raw diet, and is thriving on it. Her ears may, or may not still come all the way up.

• Requirements: must stay on her current diet of fresh, unprocessed-, raw meat/bones, right out of the local grocery store.
