I found her in the streets near Asheville, NC, in 1996;
It was in January ; she was barely 6-7 weeks old, it was below 32 degrees and snowing.
We are celebrating her 14Th year of being here, with us. She still does a 30 minute trail walk, weather permitting, numerous times / week.
Bear may not be a show dog, but you could not find a better companion than she is.
